Sometimes we take boat noodles to a whole new level.
That’s right, we fry ’em.
What to Do:
The Noodles:
Go find those old Ramen noodles collecting dust in the back of your pantry. (Yes, like the ones you bought in college for 49 cents.)
No Ramen? You’re so fancy! Round up any noodles you can find.
- Boil ’em
- Drain ’em
- (If using Ramen, don’t use the “flavor” packet, but squirrel it away for another time)
- Heat some of your favorite oil in a sauté pan
- Pan fry your noodles until whatever level of golden and slightly crispy you prefer
The Extras:
We like to add chopped sautéed onion and cabbage to the mix, but you can toss in any veggies you want or have on hand
The Sauce:
We use this sauce interchangeably as Teriyaki, Stir Fry, or “Soyaki”
Stir or shake together: 2 parts soy sauce 2 parts olive oil 1/2 part sesame oil some ground (or fresh) ginger some ground (or fresh) garlic sugar or honey to taste Ta da!
